An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Grünewald in the 4th minute of play forced Friesendorf FSV's goalkeeper Klaus Teerbeck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ramsenthal FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Friesendorf FSV the free kick. Max Josef Tetzner hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After having played for 31 minutes, Yannik Ganther managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Friesendorf FSV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yannik Ganther was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

In the 52nd minute Memet Ebert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Klaus Teerbeck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
