Jes Pilz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Werner Uhde's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jes Pilz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Jes Pilz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Werner Uhde, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Thorsten Waschke was shown his second yellow card after 93 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Appercha's Thorsten Waschke got a free kick in the 93rd minute. The Appercha supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Manrode FSV's performance. The match ended with a win for Manrode FSV.
