One of Manrode FSV:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SatanFC:s goal. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by Manrode FSV's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Noel Schröder was slow to take the kick. During this time SatanFC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Folko Strampfer got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jes Pilz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Joachim Pache struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Slaven Junglas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Manrode FSV. The supporters of Manrode FSV booed when SatanFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jörg Baur didn't get a good kick on the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joachim Pache couldn't finish the play. Ulrich Passmann's late challenge caught a Manrode FSV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ulrich Passmann helped the player get up and apologised. In the 68th match minute, SatanFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulrich Passmann to maneuver through the defense.
