Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Thilo Kleinfeld made the kick off which started today's match. Achim Croonen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alvo Mumme was a little too slow when Leo Thierse got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 8th minute. The score was now 1-0. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Leo Thierse took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Alvo Mumme to make any attempt to save it. After 24 minutes, Leo Thierse mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wollingst and the Aschenberg players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Wollingst's Leo Thierse got a free kick in the 24th minute. Alvo Mumme made an important save on a dangerous shot by Achim Croonen in the 28th minute. Peter Bachert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Holder Werners in the 33rd minute of play. A collision led to Wollingst getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Achim Croonen hit a great ball. In the 39th minute, one of Wollingst:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Wollingst. Aschenberg's Alvo Mumme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leo Thierse in the 45th minute of play.
The wind increased when Leo Thierse made the kick off in the second half. If Achim Croonen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 57 minutes into the match, Wollingst's goalkeeper Peter Bachert had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Holder Werners. Leo Thierse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvo Mumme having to interfere. Wollingst's Achim Croonen got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leo Thierse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Alvo Mumme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alvo Mumme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Achim Croonen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th minute, Raimund Gabler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wollingst's Rudolf Steiner couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 87th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Aschenberg. Alvo Mumme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Achim Croonen in the 89th minute of play. Michel Lewe took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 94th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alvo Mumme. Aschenberg's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Achim Croonen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvo Mumme having to interfere. Wollingst's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
