Klaus Betz might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Niko Betzmann. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Klaus Betz ran back to his position shaking his head. Pekko Demuth kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Kai Lamprecht struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Hank Kartz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kirchtroisdorf FSV. If Kai Lamprecht had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 24 played minutes Kirchtroisdorf FSV got a freekick which was hit by Reinhold Odenwälder. Klaus Betz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niko Betzmann having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Kirchtroisdorf FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Thorsten Motter came free, but Niko Betzmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Moorland FC booed when Kirchtroisdorf FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tihomir Müllerwiebus didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hank Kartz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adam Falke in the 31st minute. In the 32nd minute, Daniel Boymanns hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hank Kartz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kai Lamprecht in the 35th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thorsten Motter in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Niko Betzmann saved Kirchtroisdorf FSV from getting behind. In the 43rd minute, Kai Lamprecht got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kirchtroisdorf FSV's Adam Falke got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 46th minute of the match, Adam Falke got a very nice opportunity to score, but Hank Kartz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Moorland FC's Klaus Betz got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Thorsten Motter to strike the kick off in the second half. Niko Betzmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thorsten Motter, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Erich Wüst kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Adam Falke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hank Kartz having to interfere. When Thorsten Motter came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Moorland FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thorsten Motter couldn't finish the play. Hank Kartz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Falke in the 70th minute of play. Adam Falke blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hank Kartz having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Adam Falke managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kirchtroisdorf FSV's supporters rose to their feet, but Adam Falke was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hank Kartz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Kirchtroisdorf FSV fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when Kirchtroisdorf FSV's Kai Lamprecht looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some careless play in the Moorland FC defense, Kai Lamprecht kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hank Kartz. The Moorland FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hank Kartz should have stopped the shot. Adam Falke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hank Kartz having to interfere. Kirchtroisdorf FSV's Holder Rothstock suffered a sprained foot after 93 minutes and couldn't finish the game. A collision led to Moorland FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Erich Wüst hit a great ball. In the 96th minute of the match Kevin Meier shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hank Kartz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Kirchtroisdorf FSV walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
