Yannik Thieme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 16 minutes into the match, Gloriious Bastards's goal looked a bit too open when Yannik Thieme came free, but Torsten Canel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Helmuth Wagner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Friedrich Rückert in the 20th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Gloriious Bastards's Friedrich Rückert sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Helmuth Wagner narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 28 minutes into the game, Gloriious Bastards's Friedrich Rückert nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Helmuth Wagner stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Winfried Beyer's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Friedrich Rückert struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Helmuth Wagner didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gloriious Bastards. In the 40th minute, Friedrich Rückert made a precise shot to the right of Helmuth Wagner. 1 FC SPICH's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Friedrich Rückert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Yannik Thieme came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the 1 FC SPICH fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yannik Thieme couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

After having played for 51 minutes, Marc-Stephan Burger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 1 FC SPICH's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marc-Stephan Burger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gernot Dick helped the player get up and apologised. After 83 played minutes Gloriious Bastards got a freekick which was hit by Gernot Dick. Torsten Canel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marc-Stephan Burger in the 84th minute of play. During the 88th minute of the match Carl Terstege completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Carl Terstege a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 88th minute, Carl Terstege hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hugo Brett hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The 1 FC SPICH supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Gloriious Bastards's performance. The match ended with a win for Gloriious Bastards.
