After having played for 3 minutes, Ingo Bruns managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Reudnitz FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ingo Bruns was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Karlheinz Greilich sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lando Rothe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Thomas Mügge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ingo Bruns struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Thomas Mügge didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Reudnitz FC. After a defensive mix-up in Rohdental FSV's zone, Lando Rothe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thomas Mügge came out of the goal and Lando Rothe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thomas Mügge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingo Bruns in the 14th minute of the match. Thomas Mügge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ingo Bruns, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Karlheinz Greilich could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Laurence Blenkle made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ingo Bruns in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thomas Mügge prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Reudnitz FC's Laurence Blenkle proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Reudnitz FC from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lando Rothe in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thomas Mügge saved Rohdental FSV from getting behind. If Lando Rothe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ingo Bruns in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thomas Mügge saved Rohdental FSV from getting behind. Albrecht Tschammer hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hartwig Kunert stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Konstantin Kuhn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomas Mügge having to interfere. Thomas Mügge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ingo Bruns, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 57 played minutes Rohdental FSV got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Beich. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lando Rothe got free with Thomas Mügge in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ingo Bruns fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomas Mügge having to interfere. In the 81stth minute of the game Ingo Bruns who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rohdental FSV's Thomas Mügge was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 82nd play minute Lando Rothe came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Thomas Mügge. 0-1. After 84 minutes, Otto Zwingel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Reudnitz FC and the Rohdental FSV players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Reudnitz FC's Otto Zwingel got a free kick in the 85th minute. Hartwig Kunert might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Laurence Blenkle. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hartwig Kunert ran back to his position shaking his head. Lando Rothes short, quick shot in the 89thth minute got Thomas Mügge to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.
