Thomas Mügge didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gloriious Bastards. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Friedrich Rückert during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Gloriious Bastards's Friedrich Rückert got a free kick in the 9th minute. Thomas Mügge didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Friedrich Rückert went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Friedrich Rückert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 21st minute Hartwig Kunert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torsten Canel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hartwig Kunert in the 22nd minute of play forced Gloriious Bastards's goalkeeper Torsten Canel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Karlheinz Greilich managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rohdental FSV's supporters rose to their feet, but Karlheinz Greilich was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Torsten Canel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Winfried Beyer came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Gloriious Bastards fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Winfried Beyer couldn't finish the play. 33 minutes into the game, Hinrich Ducke was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rohdental FSV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gloriious Bastards the free kick. Hinrich Ducke hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Friedrich Rückert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thomas Mügge made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Friedrich Rückert sent off a good shot on target. Friedrich Rückert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Thomas Mügge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Renke Kaster made a precise shot to the right of Thomas Mügge. Rohdental FSV's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Friedrich Rückert made a kick off. Friedrich Rückert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomas Mügge having to interfere. Hartwig Kunert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 61 played minutes Gloriious Bastards got a freekick which was hit by Renke Kaster. In the 63rd minute Hartwig Kunert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torsten Canel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Friedrich Rückert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thomas Mügge stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Renke Kaster's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Friedrich Rückert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Thomas Mügge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Matthias Kannegiesser fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomas Mügge having to interfere. Rohdental FSV's Thomas Mügge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Friedrich Rückert in the 78th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Gloriious Bastards's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Karlheinz Greilich fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 82nd minute, Hartwig Kunert ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Torsten Canel was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Friedrich Rückert in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thomas Mügge prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fynn Hintze's late challenge caught a Gloriious Bastards's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fynn Hintze helped the player get up and apologised. 91 minutes into the match, Rohdental FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Friedrich Rückert came free, but Thomas Mügge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Gloriious Bastards had played much better football throughout.
