A collision led to Gloriious Bastards getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Carl Terstege hit a great ball. Lando Rothe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torsten Canel having to interfere. Renke Kaster's late challenge caught a Reudnitz FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Renke Kaster helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Gloriious Bastards's Renke Kaster got a free kick in the 6th minute. If Winfried Beyer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lando Rothe in the 12th minute of play forced Gloriious Bastards's goalkeeper Torsten Canel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 14 minutes, Lando Rothe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Reudnitz FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lando Rothe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 15 minutes into the match, Reudnitz FC's goal looked a bit too open when Friedrich Rückert came free, but Laurence Blenkle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Reudnitz FC's Jorg Rudolf got a free kick in the 16th minute. If Winfried Beyer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Friedrich Rückert managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gloriious Bastards's supporters rose to their feet, but Friedrich Rückert was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Laurence Blenkle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ulli Moll scored 1-0 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Torsten Canel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Friedrich Rückert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laurence Blenkle having to interfere. With a little luck, Gloriious Bastards's Torsten Canel got control of the ball when Lando Rothe tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ingo Bruns's late challenge caught a Gloriious Bastards's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ingo Bruns helped the player get up and apologised. Ingo Bruns kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Renke Kaster kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Lando Rothe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Lando Rothe made the kick off in the second half. Torsten Canel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lando Rothe in the 52nd minute of the match. Winfried Beyer was extremely unlucky when he, in the 54th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After a defensive mix-up in Reudnitz FC's zone, Friedrich Rückert stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Laurence Blenkle came out of the goal and Friedrich Rückert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lando Rothe struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Torsten Canel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Reudnitz FC. After a rather tough play, Reudnitz FC's Ingo Bruns got a free kick in the 61st minute. Winfried Beyer in the 75thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Laurence Blenkle, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Reudnitz FC's goalkeeper Laurence Blenkle, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Torsten Canel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lando Rothe in the 89th minute of play. Torsten Canel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lando Rothe's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. The Gloriious Bastards supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Gloriious Bastards would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
