Heiko Zocholl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ioannis Voss having to interfere. Victor Gerig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Claudius Gröber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victor Gerig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ruprecht Raich charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ruprecht Raich the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Erkelze's Ruprecht Raich got a free kick in the 10th minute. A well done corner resulted in Rodolfo Friedl drilling the ball in to score 0-1 behind Erkelze's goalkeeper. If Victor Gerig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute, Heiko Zocholl got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kampfwurst FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 21st minute, when Eckard Winkelsett scored to the left of an out of position Ioannis Voss, making the score, 1-1. Erkelze's Claudius Gröber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Gerig in the 34th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Heiko Zocholl notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Kampfwurst FC's Ioannis Voss. Ioannis Voss was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Claudius Gröber showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Gerig, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. A collision led to Erkelze getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Rouven Finkler hit a great ball. Victor Gerig struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Claudius Gröber didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kampfwurst FC.
Ioannis Voss took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Heiko Zocholl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Heiko Zocholl scored 3-1 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ioannis Voss, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Eckard Winkelsett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Heiko Zocholl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Kampfwurst FC's zone, Eckard Winkelsett stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ioannis Voss came out of the goal and Eckard Winkelsett tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kampfwurst FC's Stanislaus Exner got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eckard Winkelsett in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ioannis Voss saved Kampfwurst FC from getting behind. 76 minutes into the match, Kampfwurst FC's Stanislaus Exner sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Claudius Gröber narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 78th minute Eckard Winkelsett shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ioannis Voss saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 79 minutes of play Erkelze's Ruprecht Raich was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 79th minute, Ruprecht Raich hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stanislaus Exner could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Claudius Gröber made a huge save. In the 85th minute, Heiko Zocholl ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ioannis Voss was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. 90 minutes into the game, Christian Jener was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kampfwurst FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Erkelze the free kick. In the 90th match minute, Kampfwurst FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Jener to maneuver through the defense. In the 91st minute, Heiko Zocholl made a precise shot to the right of Ioannis Voss. Kampfwurst FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-2. In the 95th minute, Kampfwurst FC's Stanislaus Exner ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Claudius Gröber. Claudius Gröber yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-3. Kampfwurst FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
