In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Erkelze's goalkeeper Claudius Gröber, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Jürgen Krumbe fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Erkelze's protests and gave Jürgen Krumbe a yellow card for diving instead. Jürgen Krumbe hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Erkelze's Ned Wiesler got a free kick in the 7th minute. 9 minutes into the match, Schümersmühle's goalkeeper Elia Klimke had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Heiko Zocholl. In the 14th minute Jürgen Krumbe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elia Klimke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gisbert Berlich recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Schümersmühle's Adam Menger in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Erkelze's goalie prevented a goal. Frederico Wuttke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Claudius Gröber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adam Menger in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claudius Gröber prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Adam Menger managed to get in a good position for a shot. Schümersmühle's supporters rose to their feet, but Adam Menger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claudius Gröber breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gisbert Berlich in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Claudius Gröber saved Erkelze from getting behind. In the 26th minute, Heiko Zocholl fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Elia Klimke, passed just outside the right post. Schümersmühle's Adam Menger got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jürgen Krumbe was shown his second yellow card after 32 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 32nd minute, Jürgen Krumbe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 33 minutes, Delron Dückert mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Schümersmühle and the Erkelze players grew even worse after the yellow card. Delron Dückert kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gisbert Berlich in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Claudius Gröber saved Erkelze from getting behind. Adam Menger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 42 minutes into the match, Erkelze's goal looked a bit too open when Gisbert Berlich came free, but Claudius Gröber reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frederico Wuttke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudius Gröber having to interfere. After 46 played minutes Erkelze got a freekick which was hit by Ned Wiesler. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
The wind increased when Adam Menger made the kick off in the second half. Frederico Wuttke kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Claudius Gröber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Menger in the 55th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 57 minutes, Claudius Gröber successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 60th minute Heiko Zocholl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elia Klimke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Adam Menger notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Erkelze's Claudius Gröber. Claudius Gröber was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Erkelze's Claudius Gröber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermann Giebenrath in the 67th minute of play. Adam Menger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudius Gröber having to interfere. 77 minutes into the match, Erkelze's goalkeeper Claudius Gröber had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gisbert Berlich. Ruprecht Raich fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elia Klimke having to interfere. After 83 minutes, Eckard Winkelsett mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Erkelze and the Schümersmühle players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eckard Winkelsett hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. In the 85th minute, Rouven Finkler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 86th minute, Gisbert Berlich got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. During the 87th minute of the match Eckard Winkelsett completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Eckard Winkelsett a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 88th match minute, Erkelze was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eckard Winkelsett to maneuver through the defense. Claudius Gröber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Menger in the 92nd minute of the match. 94 minutes into the match, Erkelze's goal looked a bit too open when Hermann Giebenrath came free, but Claudius Gröber reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Schümersmühle walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
