Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gunther Vorwerk started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute, Gernot Berger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Konrad Fink had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Klaas Fremd recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 17 minutes, Hubertus Paziorek mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Ormont and the FC Mainzweiler players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christoph Dähne in the 20th minute of play forced FC Mainzweiler's goalkeeper Stanislaw Kokott to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ferit Petzolt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leopold Joeris in the 22nd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Christoph Dähne during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Christoph Dähne hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. After 24 played minutes FC Ormont got a freekick which was hit by Ole Künzer. Ferit Petzolt made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Egon Stehmer sent off a good shot on target. Gunther Vorwerk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Ferit Petzolt made a huge save. Stanislaw Kokott showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rainer Hollinghausen, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Egon Stehmer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Ferit Petzolt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rainer Hollinghausen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. FC Mainzweiler's Casimir Domann got his second yellow card of the match in the 42nd minute. The referee ordered Casimir Domann off the ground. In the 44th minute of the match Arne von Egidy sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Stanislaw Kokott skillfully saved the ball. Gernot Berger lost his temper 45 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 44th minute, one of FC Mainzweiler:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Mainzweiler. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Stanislaw Kokott was out of position in the 53 minute of play, and Christoph Dähne capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Christoph Dähne really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Eckehard Dupke recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, FC Mainzweiler's Stanislaw Kokott got control of the ball when Christoph Dähne tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 62nd minute Konrad Fink shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferit Petzolt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gunther Vorwerk hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Arne von Egidy's shot from long distance in the 65th minute was not bad at all, but FC Mainzweiler's Stanislaw Kokott knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Stanislaw Kokott made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rainer Hollinghausen in the 67th minute of play. FC Mainzweiler's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Hubertus Paziorek 68 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-3. Stanislaw Kokott showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hubertus Paziorek, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Stanislaw Kokott took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rainer Hollinghausen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, FC Ormont's Christoph Dähne got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the 77th minute Konrad Fink shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferit Petzolt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, FC Mainzweiler's goal looked a bit too open when Rainer Hollinghausen came free, but Stanislaw Kokott reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The FC Ormont supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Ormont would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
