Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Leon Artmann kicked off to start the match. Bernd Martin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uwe Cremer, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. When Christian Follmann came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Hellenthal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christian Follmann couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Bielefelder Jungs getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Bernhard Kosner hit a great ball. When Jonathan Benkel fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bielefelder Jungs's protests and gave Jonathan Benkel a yellow card for diving instead. Christian Follmann hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benjamin Zöllig during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 16th minute, Benjamin Zöllig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard and well directed shot from Elmar Fecht led 17 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Hellenthal's Bernd Martin became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 0-1. In the 24th match minute, Bielefelder Jungs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerald Lingnau to maneuver through the defense. Uwe Beckenbauer charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Uwe Beckenbauer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Bielefelder Jungs booed when Hellenthal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uwe Beckenbauer didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 31 played minutes Hellenthal got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Zöllig. Björn Schmuck kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Elmar Fecht sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Hellenthal's Bernd Martin didn't even have to move. Bielefelder Jungs were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after Hellenthal's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Elmar Fecht took the corner. Leon Artmann struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Bernd Martin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bielefelder Jungs. Hellenthal's Bernd Martin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leon Artmann in the 44th minute of play. When Bielefelder Jungs's Uwe Cremer in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hellenthal's goalie prevented a goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Christian Follmann stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bernd Martin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leon Artmann in the 60th minute of the match. Theo Aumüller showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Follmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 66th minute Leon Artmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernd Martin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, Leon Artmann had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bernd Martin. Hellenthal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leon Artmann was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. If Uwe Beckenbauer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 85 played minutes Hellenthal got a freekick which was hit by Tim Bushofen. 91 minutes into the match, Leon Artmann dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bernd Martin, 0-3. In the 95th minute, Uwe Cremer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
