Oliver Noak made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Max Schachow sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Delay Sports booed when Backenberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tommy Beneyto Arago didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the game's 10th minute Delay Sports's Adnan Garnschröder took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Oliver Noak and thus the score was 1-0. Hartmut Posch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Oliver Noak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 19 minutes, Marcel Barges managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Backenberg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcel Barges was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcel Barges received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Kaspar Bader-Glöckner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kaspar Bader-Glöckner didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Klemens Aicher went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 39 minutes into the match, Klemens Aicher notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Delay Sports's Kaspar Bader-Glöckner. Kaspar Bader-Glöckner was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hartmut Posch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcel Barges to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tommy Beneyto Arago in the 57th minute of play forced Delay Sports's goalkeeper Kaspar Bader-Glöckner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Delay Sports's Egon Marschall got a free kick in the 57th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Delay Sports's zone, Marcel Barges stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kaspar Bader-Glöckner came out of the goal and Marcel Barges tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Klemens Aicher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 74 minutes into the match, Klemens Aicher had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kaspar Bader-Glöckner. Delay Sports's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Klemens Aicher was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. 77 minutes into the game, Ismael Meister was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Backenberg's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Delay Sports the free kick. After 77 played minutes Backenberg got a freekick which was hit by Ismael Meister. Oliver Noak came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Delay Sports's Hartmut Posch. But to his dismay, Hartmut Posch quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. In the 84th minute, Max Schachow got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Oliver Noak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hartmut Posch in the 87th minute of the match. In the 90th minute, Klemens Aicher made a precise shot to the right of Kaspar Bader-Glöckner. Delay Sports's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. The Delay Sports supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Backenberg's performance. The match ended with a win for Backenberg.
