The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Frank Bade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hartmut Posch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hartmut Posch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Frank Bade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leopold Schwind sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 17thth minute of the game Leopold Schwind who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Delay Sports's Kaspar Bader-Glöckner was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Leopold Schwind received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Kaspar Bader-Glöckner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hanno Stehr's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kaspar Bader-Glöckner read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Frank Bade made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Max Schachow sent off a good shot on target. When Hartmut Posch, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 27 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Frank Bade was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 33 minutes into the match, Moosbronn's goalkeeper Frank Bade had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Max Schachow. 34 minutes into the game, Delay Sports's Max Schachow nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Frank Bade made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Moosbronn's Jafar Rauh got a free kick in the 48th minute. In the 49th minute of the match Adnan Garnschröder sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Frank Bade skillfully saved the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

If Max Schachow had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kaspar Bader-Glöckner made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leopold Schwind in the 56th minute. Moosbronn's Frank Bade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hartmut Posch in the 60th minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Hartmut Posch had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Frank Bade. Moosbronn's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hartmut Posch was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Hanno Stehr received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Kaspar Bader-Glöckner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Robin Neuhaus hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. After 81 played minutes, Moosbronn's Boris Riemann shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kaspar Bader-Glöckner came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Moosbronn reached it. In the 82nd minute Benno Jenssen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frank Bade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frank Bade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Max Schachow in the 85th minute of play. Kaspar Bader-Glöckner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hanno Stehr in the 88th minute of play. Jonah Albers's late challenge caught a Delay Sports's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonah Albers helped the player get up and apologised. Moosbronn's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
