Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Franz Westerman made the kick off which started today's match. A collision led to Backenberg getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Ismael Meister hit a great ball. After 4 played minutes, Masbeck FC's Baptist Koziolek shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Oliver Noak came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Masbeck FC reached it. In the 5th minute, Marcel Barges fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Gunnar Thiele, passed just outside the right post. Marcel Barges's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gunnar Thiele read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Klemens Aicher recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Klemens Aicher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Gunnar Thiele tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Franz Westerman scored 0-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Oliver Noak, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marcel Barges recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 25 minutes, Klemens Aicher managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Backenberg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Klemens Aicher was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gunnar Thiele took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcel Barges, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpected shot in the 36th minute by Klemens Aicher got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Gunnar Thiele showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcel Barges, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. When Backenberg's Marcel Barges in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Masbeck FC's goalie prevented a goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After having played for 52 minutes, Klemens Aicher managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Backenberg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Klemens Aicher was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Klemens Aicher came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Backenberg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Klemens Aicher couldn't finish the play. Backenberg's Klemens Aicher got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lorenzo Kleemann's late challenge caught a Backenberg's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lorenzo Kleemann helped the player get up and apologised. In the 60th minute, Lorenzo Kleemann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcel Barges in the 60th minute of play forced Masbeck FC's goalkeeper Gunnar Thiele to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gunnar Thiele took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Klemens Aicher, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Klemens Aicher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Klemens Aicher's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gunnar Thiele was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. When Masbeck FC's Franz Westerman in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Max Martens hit a great ball. Marcel Barges might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gunnar Thiele. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcel Barges ran back to his position shaking his head. Klemens Aicher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gunnar Thiele having to interfere. When the final whistle went the supporters of Masbeck FC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Backenberg side.
