If György Tierse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kevin Seyler's late challenge caught a Gauchsmühle FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kevin Seyler helped the player get up and apologised. In the 5th match minute, Marlishausen FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kevin Seyler to maneuver through the defense. Georg Ulrich Bunk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Stefan Limper tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12th minute Jo Ariesen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rio Röseler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14th minute, Jo Ariesen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rio Röseler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eckart Epping, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Eckart Epping put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Rio Röseler. If Jo Ariesen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st match minute, Gauchsmühle FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Goldsche to maneuver through the defense. György Tierse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Stefan Limper tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, Marlishausen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Georg Ulrich Bunk came free, but Stefan Limper reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Odilo Post had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute, Eckart Epping left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Marlishausen FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Odilo Post hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Jo Ariesen struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Rio Röseler didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marlishausen FC. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Eckart Epping made the kick off in the second half. Stefan Limper made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Georg Ulrich Bunk in the 52nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eckart Epping in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rio Röseler prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 59 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Gauchsmühle FC! Otmar Köstner shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Korbinian Lotter during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Gauchsmühle FC's Korbinian Lotter got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Jo Ariesen succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 66th playminute. After 72 played minutes Marlishausen FC got a freekick which was hit by Reinhold Steeger. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eckart Epping in the 76th minute of play forced Gauchsmühle FC's goalkeeper Rio Röseler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Marlishausen FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Odilo Post hit a great ball. In the 86th minute György Tierse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefan Limper saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, György Tierse notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Marlishausen FC's Stefan Limper. Stefan Limper was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If György Tierse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers György Tierse in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stefan Limper saved Marlishausen FC from getting behind.
