Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Finn Obst kicked off to start the match. After 3 played minutes Gauchsmühle FC got a freekick which was hit by Felix Goldsche. In the 4th minute, Boris Schowanek left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 1.FC Magdeburg fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Eliah Kornacker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Georg Ulrich Bunk, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Finn Obst managed to get in a good position for a shot. 1.FC Magdeburg's supporters rose to their feet, but Finn Obst was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rio Röseler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rio Röseler made an important save on a dangerous shot by Boris Schowanek in the 23rd minute. With an all-out effort, 1.FC Magdeburg's Rio Röseler threw himself towards the right post 24 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Finn Obst, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Felix Goldsche charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felix Goldsche the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Gauchsmühle FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Felix Goldsche hit a great ball. Eppo Wattmann struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Rio Röseler didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 1.FC Magdeburg. Eppo Wattmann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gauchsmühle FC's Rio Röseler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Finn Obst in the 37th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Boris Schowanek managed to get in a good position for a shot. 1.FC Magdeburg's supporters rose to their feet, but Boris Schowanek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rio Röseler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 41st minute 1.FC Magdeburg were awarded a corner. Finn Obst went to the cornerflag to take it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Georg Ulrich Bunk made the kick off in the second half. György Tierse struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Eliah Kornacker didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gauchsmühle FC. After a rather tough play, Gauchsmühle FC's Rachid Sundmacher got a free kick in the 54th minute. Rio Röseler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boris Schowanek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Gauchsmühle FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Felix Goldsche hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 62 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Boris Schowanek sped through Gauchsmühle FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rio Röseler. 66 minutes into the match, Gauchsmühle FC's goal looked a bit too open when Boris Schowanek came free, but Rio Röseler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Boris Schowanek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Rio Röseler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Finn Obst fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rio Röseler having to interfere. Hans Ruthmann hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Finn Obst in the 75th minute of play forced Gauchsmühle FC's goalkeeper Rio Röseler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Boris Schowanek came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the 1.FC Magdeburg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Boris Schowanek couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Boris Schowanek's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rio Röseler was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. 87 minutes into the match, Gauchsmühle FC's goal looked a bit too open when Finn Obst came free, but Rio Röseler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bodo Wolf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rio Röseler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bodo Wolf, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When 1.FC Magdeburg's Boris Schowanek in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
