Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Sonneberg's Vinzenz Husten started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sonneberg's Hilmar Staheli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Sonneberg from getting a goal against them. Juliane Freemann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kjeld Gravius having to interfere. Kjeld Gravius came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Sonneberg's Juliane Freemann. But to his dismay, Juliane Freemann quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After having played for 11 minutes, Juliane Freemann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sonneberg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juliane Freemann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Dinslakener Bruch's Luke Kramer got a free kick in the 13th minute. After 15 minutes, Juliane Freemann made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Dinslakener Bruch's Kjeld Gravius tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Juliane Freemann in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kjeld Gravius prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hilmar Staheli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingo Keller in the 22nd minute of the match. Hilmar Staheli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingo Keller in the 24th minute of play. Feridun Krieglmeier's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Hilmar Staheli firmly grabbed it by the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lemmy Brozé during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 29 minutes of play, Sonneberg's Kilian Kluge made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kjeld Gravius was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kjeld Gravius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Femke Unsöld in the 33rd minute of play. Kjeld Gravius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Femke Unsöld, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingo Keller in the 37th minute of play forced Sonneberg's goalkeeper Hilmar Staheli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Feridun Krieglmeier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Hilmar Staheli made a huge save. Juliane Freemann might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kjeld Gravius. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Juliane Freemann ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Dinslakener Bruch's Friedo Altmüller got a free kick in the 46th minute. Femke Unsöld was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 46th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ingo Keller to make the kick off. Hilmar Staheli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingo Keller in the 52nd minute of the match. Sonneberg's Hilmar Staheli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingo Keller in the 58th minute of play. Hilmar Staheli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feridun Krieglmeier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Femke Unsöld sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingo Keller in the 70th minute of play forced Sonneberg's goalkeeper Hilmar Staheli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd minute, Feridun Krieglmeier left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dinslakener Bruch fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. A collision led to Sonneberg getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Juliane Freemann hit a great ball. 78 minutes into the match, Sonneberg's goal looked a bit too open when Ingo Keller came free, but Hilmar Staheli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kjeld Gravius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juliane Freemann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Femke Unsölds short, quick shot in the 84thth minute got Kjeld Gravius to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Femke Unsöld had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Feridun Krieglmeier scored 2-3 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hilmar Staheli, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 92nd minute, Gert Ziller got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hilmar Staheli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ingo Keller, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. After having played for 95 minutes, Femke Unsöld managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sonneberg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Femke Unsöld was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
