Jonas Schnell charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonas Schnell the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jonas Schnell hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. 8 minutes into the match, Rückmarsdorf FSV's Andi Kornacker broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. A collision led to Handarpe getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Tobi Meier hit a great ball. Jonas Schnell hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Niclas Kunzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leopold Andrade, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Leopold Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niclas Kunzi having to interfere. 19 minutes into the match, Handarpe's goal looked a bit too open when Dietmar Timm came free, but Niclas Kunzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dietmar Timm in the 21st minute of play forced Handarpe's goalkeeper Niclas Kunzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Nicolai Hüsken fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Handarpe's protests and gave Nicolai Hüsken a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Handarpe's Nicolai Hüsken got a free kick in the 22nd minute. 23 minutes into the game, Leopold Andrade cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Niclas Kunzi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dietmar Timm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niclas Kunzi having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leopold Andrade in the 29th minute of play forced Handarpe's goalkeeper Niclas Kunzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dietmar Timm in the 34th minute of play forced Handarpe's goalkeeper Niclas Kunzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute Leopold Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niclas Kunzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Dietmar Timm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dietmar Timm to make the kick off. Leopold Andrade recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Eddi Weyer fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rückmarsdorf FSV's protests and gave Eddi Weyer a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arne Grützmann in the 63rd minute of play forced Rückmarsdorf FSV's goalkeeper Daniel Lohmüller to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 66 minutes, Leopold Andrade managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rückmarsdorf FSV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leopold Andrade was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Niclas Kunzi came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Rückmarsdorf FSV's Dietmar Timm. But to his dismay, Dietmar Timm quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After a rather tough play, Handarpe's Elias Klingen got a free kick in the 78th minute. Handarpe's Niclas Kunzi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Handarpe from getting a goal against them. In the 83rd minute, Olivier Blecke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85th minute of the match Stefan-Benjamin Obser sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Daniel Lohmüller skillfully saved the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dieter Lachmann in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daniel Lohmüller saved Rückmarsdorf FSV from getting behind. In the 91st minute, Dietmar Timm got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leopold Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute, Handarpe's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Dietmar Timm fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Leopold Andrade could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Niclas Kunzi made a huge save. The Rückmarsdorf FSV players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
