Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Wolf-Rüdiger Uken started the match with the kick off. The audience was convinced that Godo Kraus's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Michael Reimann was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. Arlo Kapp's late challenge caught a Varenholz FSV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arlo Kapp helped the player get up and apologised. Arlo Kapp hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Michael Reimann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Godo Kraus in the 9th minute of play. Wolf-Rüdiger Uken fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Reimann having to interfere. When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Wolf-Rüdiger Uken sped through Varenholz FSV's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Michael Reimann. In the 21st minute Wolf-Rüdiger Uken shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michael Reimann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Leon Krützfeld fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Varenholz FSV's protests and gave Leon Krützfeld a yellow card for diving instead. 31 minutes into the game, Herpel FC's Godo Kraus nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Michael Reimann made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After a defensive mix-up in Herpel FC's zone, Ralf Drewniak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gero Renner came out of the goal and Ralf Drewniak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nikolaus Quint received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Gero Renner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Michael Reimann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Godo Kraus in the 40th minute of play. Michael Reimann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Godo Kraus in the 42nd minute of the match. Michael Reimann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wolf-Rüdiger Uken in the 44th minute of play. After 45 played minutes Varenholz FSV got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Meidel. After having played for 46 minutes, Wolf-Rüdiger Uken managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Herpel FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wolf-Rüdiger Uken was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 47th minute, Christof Brendel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ralf Drewniak was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Varenholz FSV's zone, Wolf-Rüdiger Uken stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Michael Reimann came out of the goal and Wolf-Rüdiger Uken tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Godo Kraus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Varenholz FSV's Leon Krützfeld got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Fabian Baltermanns took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 63rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Michael Reimann. Varenholz FSV's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After having played for 72 minutes, Wolf-Rüdiger Uken managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Herpel FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wolf-Rüdiger Uken was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 75 minutes, Michael Reimann successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 78th minute, Sebastian Meidel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 80 minutes in the game, Godo Kraus fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Michael Reimann having to interfere. In the 81st minute, Leon Krützfeld hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wolf-Rüdiger Uken fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Reimann having to interfere. Varenholz FSV's Michael Reimann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wolf-Rüdiger Uken in the 86th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arlo Kapp got free with Michael Reimann in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Wolf-Rüdiger Uken had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Michael Reimann was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Wolf-Rüdiger Uken showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 94 minute of play. The Varenholz FSV fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Herpel FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
