The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Oleg Seelert's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 5thth minute, Benjamin Wörmann skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Benjamin Wörmann was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Otfried Cisek showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 10 minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC Pavonix's Franz-Peter Rennicke got a free kick in the 15th minute. Alexander Überschär missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 17 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Wulf Ripsam right hand side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sönke Kozlik in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wulf Ripsam saved FC Pavonix from getting behind. 22 minutes into the match, Volker Schmuck notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of FC Pavonix's Wulf Ripsam. Wulf Ripsam was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Damir Munz kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 28th minute Otfried Cisek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Wörmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robert Kochmann kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After having played for 30 minutes, Otfried Cisek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Pavonix's supporters crossed their fingers, but Otfried Cisek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Oleg Seelert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jan-Oliver Kebeis's late challenge caught a FC Pavonix's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jan-Oliver Kebeis helped the player get up and apologised. After 38 played minutes Unterlehen FC got a freekick which was hit by Volker Schmuck. Benjamin Wörmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damir Munz in the 42nd minute of play. In the 44th minute Otfried Cisek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Wörmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oleg Seelert in the 45thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Benjamin Wörmann, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Otfried Cisek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Benjamin Wörmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Volker Schmuck to strike the kick off in the second half. Wulf Ripsam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Kochmann in the 53rd minute of the match. Otfried Cisek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 61 minutes, Oleg Seelert managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Pavonix's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oleg Seelert was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Volker Schmuck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Wulf Ripsam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Otfried Cisek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 76 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Oleg Seelert sped through Unterlehen FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benjamin Wörmann. Oleg Seelert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Wörmann having to interfere. After a rather tough play, FC Pavonix's Egbert Drücker got a free kick in the 89th minute. Wulf Ripsam was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Alexander Überschär. Wulf Ripsam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Volker Schmuck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Pavonix's goalkeeper Wulf Ripsam, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
