Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Mehmet Kuhn started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Franco Bleck during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Elberfelder FC's Franco Bleck got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Dennis Pangerl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jochen Hornung having to interfere. Meuselwitz's Mehmet Kuhn got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Erdal Neuwinger hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Ephraim Haak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 23 played minutes Elberfelder FC got a freekick which was hit by Elard Krumbe. Meuselwitz's Emanuel Pohlplatz couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 24th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Elberfelder FC. Meuselwitz's Jochen Hornung played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dennis Pangerl in the 27th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Meuselwitz's zone, Norbert Dorn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jochen Hornung came out of the goal and Norbert Dorn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mehmet Kuhn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Jeff Westerwelle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34thth minute of the game Mehmet Kuhn who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Elberfelder FC's Jeff Westerwelle was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 36 minutes in the game, Ephraim Haak fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jeff Westerwelle having to interfere. Meuselwitz's Jochen Hornung played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dennis Pangerl in the 39th minute of play. In the 40th match minute, Meuselwitz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erhard Beier to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th minute, Norbert Dorn left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Elberfelder FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Norbert Dorn made a kick off. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Meuselwitz's goalkeeper Jochen Hornung, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 54 minutes into the match, Meuselwitz's goalkeeper Jochen Hornung had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dennis Pangerl. When Mehmet Kuhn came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Meuselwitz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mehmet Kuhn couldn't finish the play. In the 60th minute Norbert Dorn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jochen Hornung saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mehmet Kuhn in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jeff Westerwelle prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Ephraim Haak came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Meuselwitz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ephraim Haak couldn't finish the play. Jochen Hornung didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 74th minute, which inside left pole to 0-2. After 79 played minutes, Meuselwitz's Lovis Kastener shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jeff Westerwelle came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Meuselwitz reached it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ephraim Haak in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jeff Westerwelle saved Elberfelder FC from getting behind. After 85 played minutes Elberfelder FC got a freekick which was hit by Dennis Pangerl. When Meuselwitz's Mehmet Kuhn in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Elberfelder FC's goalie prevented a goal. Jeff Westerwelle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ephraim Haak in the 89th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norbert Dorn in the 93rd minute of play forced Meuselwitz's goalkeeper Jochen Hornung to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mehmet Kuhn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Jeff Westerwelle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Norbert Dorn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
