In the 11th minute, Lars Reif got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sven Burgschmidt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jakob Caesar in the 15th minute of the match. In the 16th match minute, Lomersheim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Engelbert Lameck to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute, Jakob Caesar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Max Babic had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. From a short distance, Lomersheim's Max Babic, in the 24th minute, tried to place the ball behind Nino Kozole, but the ball hit the right post on the wrong side and went out. After having played for 36 minutes, Lars Reif managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Appeldorf's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lars Reif was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 38 minutes into the match, Lomersheim's goal looked a bit too open when Lars Reif came free, but Sven Burgschmidt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 38 minutes into the game, Lars Reif cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Sven Burgschmidt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 41 minutes, Lars Reif mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Appeldorf and the Lomersheim players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 41st minute, Lars Reif hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Hennes Wollberg from long distance, 42 minutes into the match, got Nino Kozole's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Max Babic's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nino Kozole read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. Tim Toupheksis's late challenge caught a Lomersheim's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tim Toupheksis helped the player get up and apologised. In the 46th minute, Tim Toupheksis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 55th minute Max Babic shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nino Kozole saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lars Reif succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 56th playminute. Nino Kozole didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Max Babic went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Hennes Wollberg kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. If Lars Reif had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Stefan Andres fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lomersheim's protests and gave Stefan Andres a yellow card for diving instead. In the 73rd minute, Stefan Andres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 76th minute, Max Babic left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lomersheim fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Lukas Berz kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. 84 minutes into the match, FC Appeldorf's Lars Christann broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Lomersheim were awarded a corner in the 90th minute after FC Appeldorf's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Werner Tinz took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Werner Tinz got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Nino Kozole quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After some careless play in the FC Appeldorf defense, Max Babic kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nino Kozole. The FC Appeldorf fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nino Kozole should have stopped the shot. Lomersheim's defense didn't have a chance, in the 95th minute, when Jakob Caesar scored to the left of an out of position Sven Burgschmidt, making the score, 4-3. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Lomersheim had won after a very even match.
