Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hermann Gatzke started the match with the kick off. Philip Weiler came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Haast's Eyjölfur Dugnus. But to his dismay, Eyjölfur Dugnus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Eyjölfur Dugnus might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Philip Weiler. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eyjölfur Dugnus ran back to his position shaking his head. Jonathan Carlebach sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Arne Vaerst fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Probstheida FSV's protests and gave Arne Vaerst a yellow card for diving instead. Arne Vaerst kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eyjölfur Dugnus in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Philip Weiler prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jonathan Carlebach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Philip Weiler having to interfere. If Jonathan Carlebach had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 20 minutes into the game, Göran Gehse cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Philip Weiler was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Probstheida FSV's Arne Vaerst got a free kick in the 25th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eyjölfur Dugnus in the 26th minute of play forced Probstheida FSV's goalkeeper Philip Weiler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 28 minutes, Hermann Gatzke managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Probstheida FSV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hermann Gatzke was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Probstheida FSV's Michael Wesseling got a free kick in the 30th minute. Probstheida FSV's Philip Weiler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Carlebach in the 33rd minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Haast's Eyjölfur Dugnus sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Philip Weiler narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 42 minutes into the match, Probstheida FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Eyjölfur Dugnus came free, but Philip Weiler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arne Vaerst got his second yellow card in the match during the 42nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Arne Vaerst kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. In the 48th minute, Jonathan Carlebach got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jonathan Carlebach stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Klaus Kahn's late challenge caught a Haast's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Klaus Kahn helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Probstheida FSV's Klaus Kahn got a free kick in the 59th minute. Hermann Heesen didn't quite understand what happened when in the 60 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. 68 minutes into the match, Haast's Eyjölfur Dugnus sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Philip Weiler narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Philip Weiler didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Göran Gehse went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 74th minute, Göran Gehse hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hans-Georg Möhrle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pascal Richerzhagen having to interfere. Michael Wesseling struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Pascal Richerzhagen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Probstheida FSV. Pascal Richerzhagen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hans-Georg Möhrle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eyjölfur Dugnuss short, quick shot in the 80thth minute got Philip Weiler to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Hermann Gatzke hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Eyjölfur Dugnus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Göran Gehse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute, Probstheida FSV's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Eyjölfur Dugnus fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Eyjölfur Dugnus succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-4 in the 96th playminute. The Haast supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Haast would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
