The audience thought a goal was coming when Eyjölfur Dugnus got free with Sven Burgschmidt in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In a very dangerous position, a player in Haast fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 5th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Lomersheim a penalty, 8 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Werner Tinz, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Haast's Pascal Richerzhagen. 0-1. In the 11th minute Max Babic shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pascal Richerzhagen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Lomersheim's Michael Dierkes got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 16th minute, Torsten Berkowitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Max Babic recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lukas Berz in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pascal Richerzhagen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 23rd minute, Michael Dierkes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pascal Richerzhagen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Max Babic in the 26th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, Lomersheim's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Carlebach came free, but Sven Burgschmidt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sven Burgschmidt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Göran Gehse in the 34th minute. After having played for 37 minutes, Jonathan Carlebach managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Haast's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonathan Carlebach was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 47th match minute, Haast was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eyjölfur Dugnus to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jonathan Carlebach stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Max Babic made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Haast's Pascal Richerzhagen tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Michael Dierkes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pascal Richerzhagen having to interfere. When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Max Babic sped through Haast's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pascal Richerzhagen. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Max Babic in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pascal Richerzhagen saved Haast from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michael Dierkes got free with Pascal Richerzhagen in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lomersheim's Max Babic was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 77th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. A collision led to Lomersheim getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Lukas Berz hit a great ball. 87 minutes into the game, Stefan Andres cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Pascal Richerzhagen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lomersheim's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
