If Luka Strohmayer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Claas Fey came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Lautern FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claas Fey couldn't finish the play. After 37 minutes, Claas Fey mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lautern FC and the 1FC Gamingking players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Lautern FC's Claas Fey got a free kick in the 37th minute. Sven Reichenbach showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luka Strohmayer in the 42nd minute of the match. With a little luck, Lautern FC's Horst Dreher got control of the ball when Martin Abascal tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 47 minutes, Luka Strohmayer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lautern FC and the 1FC Gamingking players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of 1FC Gamingking booed when Lautern FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luka Strohmayer didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Martin Abascal to make the kick off. After 52 minutes, Luka Strohmayer made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. 1FC Gamingking's Sven Reichenbach tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Sven Reichenbach made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claas Fey in the 57th minute of play. Horst Dreher showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Abascal, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Lautern FC's Horst Dreher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Abascal in the 63rd minute of play. After 74 played minutes Lautern FC got a freekick which was hit by Frederik Wanner. In the 76th match minute, Lautern FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luka Strohmayer to maneuver through the defense. In the 78th minute, Dierk Bohle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Lautern FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Kjetil Ewen hit a great ball. 82 minutes into the match, Lautern FC's goal looked a bit too open when Berthold Geske came free, but Horst Dreher reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luka Strohmayer in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sven Reichenbach prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Horst Dreher took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Abascal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Horst Dreher made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berthold Geske in the 88th minute of play. Horst Dreher didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Berthold Geske went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Claas Fey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
