An unexpectedly hard shot by Berthold Geske in the 7th minute of play forced Groß Schulenburger Polder FSV's goalkeeper Arbo Häfner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Martin Abascal got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 1-0 in the right cross in the 9th match minute before Arbo Häfner had time to react. Tino Elsner hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. The supporters of Groß Schulenburger Polder FSV booed when 1FC Gamingking was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benedikt Stirböck didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arbo Häfner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Abascal, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Martin Abascal in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arbo Häfner prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Groß Schulenburger Polder FSV's Arbo Häfner got control of the ball when Benedikt Stirböck tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in 1FC Gamingking's zone, Dennis Dirks stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sven Reichenbach came out of the goal and Dennis Dirks tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sven Reichenbach came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Groß Schulenburger Polder FSV's Dennis Dirks. But to his dismay, Dennis Dirks quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Martin Abascals short, quick shot in the 41stth minute got Arbo Häfner to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Martin Abascal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Arbo Häfner made a huge save. The supporters of 1FC Gamingking booed when Groß Schulenburger Polder FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hinrich Reck didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dennis Dirks to make the kick off. In the 56th minute, Martin Abascal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 1FC Gamingking fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Arbo Häfner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berthold Geske in the 58th minute of play. 60 minutes had been played when some careless play by Groß Schulenburger Polder FSV's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dustin Vohwinkel was slow to take the kick. During this time 1FC Gamingking's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Dustin Vohwinkel almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Groß Schulenburger Polder FSV's Arbo Häfner did a great save. Sven Reichenbach made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tino Elsner in the 67th minute. Markus Mantel scored 2-3 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sven Reichenbach, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The 1FC Gamingking fans' excitement grew in the 75th match minute when 1FC Gamingking's Martin Abascal looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 79 minutes of play, Groß Schulenburger Polder FSV's Tino Elsner made it 3-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sven Reichenbach was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dennis Dirks fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven Reichenbach having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, Groß Schulenburger Polder FSV's Tino Elsner sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sven Reichenbach narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 87th minute, Max Oldenburg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Martin Abascal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Berthold Geske received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Arbo Häfner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, Groß Schulenburger Polder FSV's Dennis Dirks sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sven Reichenbach narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Groß Schulenburger Polder FSV were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over 1FC Gamingking's much stronger midfield.
