The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alfons Püttmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfons Püttmann in the 3rd minute of play forced Kirchbauna's goalkeeper Sebastian Holzmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 5 minutes, Alexander Kahsner managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bramstedter TS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexander Kahsner was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Alexander Kahsner managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bramstedter TS's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexander Kahsner was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sebastian Holzmann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Patrick Baum in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claudio Credo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Claudio Credo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Winfried Hartmann in the 14th minute. Bramstedter TS's Alfons Püttmann got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Alfons Püttmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 23 played minutes Patrick Baum rounded Bramstedter TS's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Claudio Credo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrick Baum, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th match minute, Bramstedter TS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernd Tochtermann to maneuver through the defense. Sebastian Holzmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexander Kahsner, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Alfons Püttmann's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sebastian Holzmann read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Patrick Baum stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alexander Kahsner's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sebastian Holzmann read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Alexander Kahsner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Sebastian Holzmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrick Baum in the 67th minute of play forced Bramstedter TS's goalkeeper Claudio Credo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th minute, Bernd Tochtermann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Kirchbauna getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Wolf-Rüdiger Thal hit a great ball. In the 71st minute, Bramstedter TS's Alexander Kahsner dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. When Lukas Fey fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kirchbauna's protests and gave Lukas Fey a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Kirchbauna getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Lukas Fey hit a great ball. Heidrich Holzfuß received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Claudio Credo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 80 played minutes Kirchbauna got a freekick which was hit by Lukas Fey. Patrick Baum hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. After 82 played minutes Bramstedter TS got a freekick which was hit by Santiago Terwester. After some careless play in the Bramstedter TS defense, Patrick Baum kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Claudio Credo. The Bramstedter TS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Claudio Credo should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexander Kahsner in the 91st minute of play forced Kirchbauna's goalkeeper Sebastian Holzmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94thth minute of the game Alexander Kahsner who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kirchbauna's Sebastian Holzmann was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alfons Püttmann succeeded in the game's 96th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-4. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Bramstedter TS had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
