After 20 minutes, Tibor Rubner mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vielank and the Pichelsberg players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 20th match minute, Vielank was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tibor Rubner to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Pichelsberg booed when Vielank was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julius Lamowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. 27 minutes into the game, Vico Faller cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Bernd Dambowsky was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bernd Dambowsky made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Abel Krome sent off a good shot on target. Nestor Bansen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Bernd Dambowsky made a huge save. After 40 minutes of play, Pichelsberg's Matthias Faust made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bernd Dambowsky was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 44th minute Enrico von Fallersleben suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. In the 45th minute, Clemens Klause hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abel Krome was the one to do the kick off. Vico Faller kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 59 minutes into the game, when Benni Weise put in a rough tackle. A collision led to Pichelsberg getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Benni Weise hit a great ball. Thoralf Berens recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dave Dick during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bernd Dambowsky went to the wrong direction when Matthias Faust was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Bernd Dambowsky stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nestor Bansen's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Nestor Bansen succeeded in the game's 74th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-1. After 78 played minutes Pichelsberg got a freekick which was hit by Richard Jerat. After 79 minutes, Rudolf Vieth mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vielank and the Pichelsberg players grew even worse after the yellow card. 81 minutes into the match, Vielank's goal looked a bit too open when Nestor Bansen came free, but Bernd Dambowsky reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julius Lamowski might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vinzenz Dobrindt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Julius Lamowski ran back to his position shaking his head. 94 minutes into the match, Pichelsberg's goal looked a bit too open when Marko Krinke came free, but Vinzenz Dobrindt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 98th match minute, Vielank was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnulf Winter to maneuver through the defense. Bernd Dambowsky showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abel Krome, who was totally free with the ball in the 99th minute. There was no doubt that Pichelsberg were the better team. Pichelsberg's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
