Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Vikings's Benni Erdogan started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thaddäus Kebeis charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Thaddäus Kebeis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Thaddäus Kebeis kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. In the 6th minute, Frederik Gleissner ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Falk Veigel was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After 8 played minutes Vikings got a freekick which was hit by Jonah von Dreusche. Frederik Gleissner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Vikings getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Lukas Ströbele hit a great ball. Falk Veigel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Velten Wegl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Velten Wegl in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Falk Veigel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 18th minute, Mehdi Emmel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thaddäus Kebeis, 19 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Benni Erdogan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vikings's supporters rose to their feet, but Benni Erdogan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stephan Andreowsky breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Frederik Gleissner's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Falk Veigel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Arndt Riester's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stephan Andreowsky was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. A collision led to Olsbrücken FSV getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Gert Gent hit a great ball. Benni Erdogan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36th minute Benni Erdogan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stephan Andreowsky saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frederik Gleissner struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Falk Veigel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Olsbrücken FSV. Vikings's Arndt Riester got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benni Erdogan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Velten Wegl to make the kick off. Frederik Gleissner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Falk Veigel having to interfere. When the match clock showed 60 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Velten Wegl sped through Vikings's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Falk Veigel. With a little luck, Olsbrücken FSV's Stephan Andreowsky got control of the ball when Arndt Riester tried to sneak it across the goal line. 66 minutes into the game, Tim Klause was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Olsbrücken FSV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vikings the free kick. Vikings's Arndt Riester got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Frederik Gleissner came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Olsbrücken FSV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frederik Gleissner couldn't finish the play. Benni Erdogan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stephan Andreowsky having to interfere. If Velten Wegl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 90 minutes, Frederik Gleissner managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olsbrücken FSV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frederik Gleissner was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 95 minutes into the match, Vikings's goal looked a bit too open when Frederik Gleissner came free, but Falk Veigel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olsbrücken FSV's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
