The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kottweil's goalkeeper Harald Peters, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 19 minutes, Arnold Koslow made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Kottweil's Harald Peters tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, FC BFH 16's Carl Gobsch got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 26th minute, Raphael Schaper hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 40th minute Arnold Koslow shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harald Peters saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arnold Koslow was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Kottweil's Benedikt Logern got a free kick in the 54th minute. 55 minutes into the match, FC BFH 16's Alfons Sprenger broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. FC BFH 16's Arnold Koslow was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 57th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. If Arnold Koslow had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC BFH 16's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
