An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomislav Pollan in the 16th minute of play forced Altengesees's goalkeeper Cem Kerber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ayman Kemmerle charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ayman Kemmerle the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ayman Kemmerle kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. When Altengesees's Clint Hocker in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bert Ehrgott couldn't finish the play. Cem Kerber showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lukas Huth, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 34 minutes into the match, Maxim Maaßen dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cem Kerber, 1-1. Rochus Tenberge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kai Mauz in the 39th minute of the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 40 minutes into the game, when Bert Ehrgott put in a rough tackle. In the 43rd minute there was a penalty for Altengesees. Daniel Rump stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Rochus Tenberge. 2-2. The supporters of Altengesees booed when FC Unkraut was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ayman Kemmerle didn't get a good kick on the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Clint Hocker made a kick off. Rochus Tenberge made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kai Mauz in the 54th minute. Rochus Tenberge was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kai Mauz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 55 minute of play. With a little luck, FC Unkraut's Rochus Tenberge got control of the ball when Lester Hertäg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rochus Tenberge made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Kai Mauz sent off a good shot on target. In the 71st minute Clint Hocker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rochus Tenberge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 74th minute, Altengesees's Clint Hocker ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rochus Tenberge. Rochus Tenberge yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-4. Lester Hertäg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Rochus Tenberge made a huge save. In the 80th minute, Kai Mauz made a precise shot to the right of Rochus Tenberge. FC Unkraut's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-5. The crowd rose to their feet as Clint Hocker kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rochus Tenberge. That made the score 3-6 in the 84 minute of play. Gottfried Klöting's late challenge caught a FC Unkraut's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gottfried Klöting helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of FC Unkraut booed when Altengesees was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gottfried Klöting didn't get a good kick on the ball.
