Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) FC Preußen Münster's Josef Westermann started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute, Storp's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Josef Röwe fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When Josef Röwe came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the FC Preußen Münster fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Josef Röwe couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Storp's Heiko Hoffner got a free kick in the 18th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Josef Westermann in the 19th minute of play forced Storp's goalkeeper Harold Gelb to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Harold Gelb showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Josef Westermann in the 20th minute of the match. Josef Westermann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harold Gelb having to interfere. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Storp's goalkeeper Harold Gelb, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. FC Preußen Münster's Perry Lelke pulled a muscle in his leg after 30 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Heiko Hoffner's late challenge caught a FC Preußen Münster's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Heiko Hoffner helped the player get up and apologised. Josef Westermann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harold Gelb having to interfere. After some careless play in the Storp defense, Josef Westermann kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Harold Gelb. The Storp fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Harold Gelb should have stopped the shot.

The wind increased when Hansjörg Kala made the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute, Josef Röwe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Preußen Münster fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Josef Westermann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Harold Gelb stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Josef Röwe's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Adam Mieß made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hansjörg Kala in the 66th minute of play. Josef Röwe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harold Gelb having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Josef Röwe in the 72nd minute of play forced Storp's goalkeeper Harold Gelb to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Josef Röwe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Harold Gelb tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Josef Röwe in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Harold Gelb saved Storp from getting behind. In the 76th minute, Josef Röwe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 81 minutes, Josef Westermann mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Preußen Münster and the Storp players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Storp booed when FC Preußen Münster was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Josef Westermann didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Hansjörg Kala managed to get in a good position for a shot. Storp's supporters rose to their feet, but Hansjörg Kala was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adam Mieß breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Heiko Hoffner in the 85th minute of play forced FC Preußen Münster's goalkeeper Adam Mieß to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Boris Kozok charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Boris Kozok the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 86th minute, Boris Kozok hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hansjörg Kala struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Adam Mieß didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Storp. Storp's Heiko Hoffner suffered a sprained foot after 88 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Josef Westermann got his second yellow card in the match during the 88th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, FC Preußen Münster's Josef Westermann got a free kick in the 89th minute. FC Preußen Münster's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
