When the match clock showed 3 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Valentin Heinrichs sped through Giesensand FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Erich Haubach. Erich Haubach took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentin Heinrichs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valentin Heinrichs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Erich Haubach tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valentin Heinrichs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erich Haubach having to interfere. If Valentin Heinrichs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 30 minutes into the match, Valentin Heinrichs notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Giesensand FC's Erich Haubach. Erich Haubach was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Valentin Heinrichs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 36 minutes into the match, LTSC Wasserbillig's goalkeeper Herrmann Kanoneks had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ingmar Bernhard. Ingmar Bernhard struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Herrmann Kanoneks didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Giesensand FC. Herrmann Kanoneks was out of position in the 40 minute of play, and Gordian Scholzen capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gordian Scholzen really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Herrmann Kanoneks made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Ingmar Bernhard sent off a good shot on target. 45 minutes into the game, Valentin Heinrichs cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Erich Haubach was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Giesensand FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. LTSC Wasserbillig were winning 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valentin Heinrichs was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentin Heinrichs in the 53rd minute of play forced Giesensand FC's goalkeeper Erich Haubach to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ingmar Bernhard's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Herrmann Kanoneks read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Ingmar Bernhard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Herrmann Kanoneks tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erich Haubach was a little too slow when Valentin Heinrichs got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 76th minute. The score was now 1-4. Herrmann Kanoneks showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ingmar Bernhard, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Valentin Heinrichs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Erich Haubach tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
