Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Steven Hiller made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes into the match, Irmenseul FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Steven Hiller came free, but Jonas Achen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Torsholt's Jan Wirtgen got a free kick in the 7th minute. Kim Hoffmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Achen having to interfere. If Peter Reinberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Steven Hiller fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Achen having to interfere. Jonas Achen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steven Hiller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Kim Hoffmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kim Hoffmann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Irmenseul FSV getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Sven Siebelt hit a great ball. In the 31st minute of the match Joel Heesen sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonas Achen skillfully saved the ball. Irmenseul FSV's Jonas Achen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steven Hiller in the 33rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Irmenseul FSV's zone, Kim Hoffmann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonas Achen came out of the goal and Kim Hoffmann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Torsholt's Rüdiger Kamper got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 45 played minutes Torsholt got a freekick which was hit by David-Pascal Himmelreich. Timo Kappestein sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Timo Kappestein managed to get in a good position for a shot. Irmenseul FSV's supporters rose to their feet, but Timo Kappestein was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Uli Thurow breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Timo Kappestein made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 66 minutes, Kim Hoffmann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Torsholt's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kim Hoffmann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Irmenseul FSV's zone, Steven Hiller stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonas Achen came out of the goal and Steven Hiller tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 70th minute, Steven Hiller made a precise shot to the right of Jonas Achen. Irmenseul FSV's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 76th match minute, Torsholt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rüdiger Kamper to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th minute of the match Fabian Katzwinkel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Uli Thurow showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Irmenseul FSV booed when Torsholt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan Wirtgen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Torsholt's Uli Thurow played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timo Kappestein in the 78th minute of play. If Steven Hiller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Irmenseul FSV's goalkeeper Jonas Achen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Uli Thurow took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timo Kappestein, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute Kim Hoffmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Achen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Timo Kappestein managed to get in a good position for a shot. Irmenseul FSV's supporters rose to their feet, but Timo Kappestein was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
