An unexpectedly hard shot by Kunibert Blaumüller in the 10th minute of play forced Pillnitz FC's goalkeeper Oliver Radant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of SystemShock booed when Pillnitz FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Schönmoser didn't get a good kick on the ball. Winfried Luplow made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alex Schönmoser in the 19th minute. Marco Wedel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oliver Radant having to interfere. In the 25thth minute of the game Kunibert Blaumüller who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pillnitz FC's Oliver Radant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. SystemShock's Marco Wedel got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Klaus Heinicke fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pillnitz FC's protests and gave Klaus Heinicke a yellow card for diving instead. In the 27th match minute, Pillnitz FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Klaus Heinicke to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 28 minutes, Kunibert Blaumüller managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SystemShock's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kunibert Blaumüller was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 30th minute, Danilo Ballstein got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Oliver Radant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Wedel in the 36th minute of play. Kunibert Blaumüller scored 0-1 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Oliver Radant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kunibert Blaumüller recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bertram Schnurr fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oliver Radant having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kunibert Blaumüller was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to SystemShock getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Knud Sänger hit a great ball. 60 minutes into the match, Pillnitz FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kunibert Blaumüller came free, but Oliver Radant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Danilo Ballstein came free with the goalkeeper in the 80th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Oliver Radant could save by the left post. In the 82nd minute of the match, Kunibert Blaumüller tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Oliver Radant saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Oliver Radant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kunibert Blaumüller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
