Marcel Tepper kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, Escheroda FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Dante Mersmann came free, but Yannic Gerloff reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Escheroda FSV's goalkeeper Yannic Gerloff, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 18th minute, Marcel Tepper hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eilert von Puttkammer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Boris Schnelle came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Escheroda FSV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Boris Schnelle couldn't finish the play. When FC Piggie's Dante Mersmann in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alex Schüring stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dante Mersmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yannic Gerloff having to interfere. When Raffael Vossen fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Piggie's protests and gave Raffael Vossen a yellow card for diving instead. Dante Mersmann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Escheroda FSV's Yannic Gerloff played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dante Mersmann in the 71st minute of play. FC Piggie's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Thorben Tandler in the 73rd minute. Yannic Gerloff showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dante Mersmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Yannic Gerloff took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dante Mersmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84thth minute of the game Dante Mersmann who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Escheroda FSV's Yannic Gerloff was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Yannic Gerloff made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eilert von Puttkammer in the 87th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Tino Kraatz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 1-0 became the score in the 89th minute when Eilert von Puttkammer elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Escheroda FSV's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
