Constantin-Maximilian Lehmann came out of the goal and Christian Thieltges tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Holger Breuer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christopher Edinger in the 32nd minute of play. Benjamin Lücker hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Marco Jennemann might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Holger Breuer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marco Jennemann ran back to his position shaking his head. Arntitz's Stefan-Benjamin Frentzen got his second yellow card of the match in the 38th minute. The referee ordered Stefan-Benjamin Frentzen off the ground. In the 39th minute, Stefan-Benjamin Frentzen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The wind increased when Marco Jennemann made the kick off in the second half. A wasted opportunity for Uthwerdum FSV. If Hauke Hirsch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
