Simon Gotthard's late challenge caught a Brockensen FSV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Brockensen FSV's Marc Kosten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Wieberneit in the 11th minute of play. Akim Koellner kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, Echtz FSV's Luca Niggemeyer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marc Kosten narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Christian Wieberneit received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Marc Kosten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brockensen FSV's Marc Kosten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Wieberneit in the 17th minute of play. In the 19th minute Brix Wiest shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dominik Wittrock saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Christian Wieberneit during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Christian Wieberneit kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Brix Wiest got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Brockensen FSV's Marc Kosten proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Brockensen FSV from getting a goal against them. In the 30th match minute, Brockensen FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulrich Richter to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute, Ulrich Richter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Christian Wieberneit had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 41st minute Brix Wiest shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dominik Wittrock saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, Echtz FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Ulrich Richter came free, but Dominik Wittrock reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Matthias Richter fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Echtz FSV's protests and gave Matthias Richter a yellow card for diving instead. Matthias Richter kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Dominik Wittrock stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Brix Wiest's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. In the 46th minute, Ulrich Richter made a precise shot to the right of Dominik Wittrock. Echtz FSV's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Christian Wieberneit to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Brockensen FSV's Gerlach Klötzer got a free kick in the 52nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Dominic Westrich managed to get in a good position for a shot. Echtz FSV's supporters rose to their feet, but Dominic Westrich was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marc Kosten breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 60th minute, Christian Wieberneit got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Brix Wiest had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ulrich Richter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Brockensen FSV defense, Luca Niggemeyer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marc Kosten. The Brockensen FSV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marc Kosten should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Wieberneit in the 76th minute of play forced Brockensen FSV's goalkeeper Marc Kosten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dominik Wittrock stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ulrich Richter's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Brix Wiest sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dominik Wittrock took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulrich Richter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brix Wiest could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Dominik Wittrock made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leo-Jan Logern during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 90th match minute, Echtz FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leo-Jan Logern to maneuver through the defense. In the 91st minute of the match, Ulrich Richter tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dominik Wittrock saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 97 played minutes Brockensen FSV got a freekick which was hit by Akim Koellner. Brockensen FSV played a much better game than Echtz FSV and deserved their victory. The Echtz FSV players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
