Uthwerdum FSV's Holger Breuer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luca Niggemeyer in the 3rd minute of play. 7 minutes into the game, Leo-Jan Logern was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Echtz FSV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Uthwerdum FSV the free kick. After 7 played minutes Echtz FSV got a freekick which was hit by Leo-Jan Logern. 12 minutes into the game, Nicolai Leverenz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Echtz FSV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Uthwerdum FSV the free kick. In the 12th minute, Nicolai Leverenz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Holger Breuer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Wieberneit in the 17th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Uthwerdum FSV's Christopher Sendt got a free kick in the 21st minute. After 24 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Uthwerdum FSV! Uthwerdum FSV:s Holger Breuer showed great skill when he stopped Dominic Westrich:s penalty. In the 27th match minute, Echtz FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jochen Bohm to maneuver through the defense. Hauke Hirsch came free with the goalkeeper in the 29th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Dominik Wittrock could save by the left post. After having played for 31 minutes, Luca Niggemeyer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Echtz FSV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luca Niggemeyer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hauke Hirsch's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dominik Wittrock read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Christian Wieberneit fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Holger Breuer having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

If Markus Reinhard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th minute of the match Falk Recktor shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dominik Wittrock showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Christian Wieberneit took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Holger Breuer to make any attempt to save it. After 74 played minutes Christian Wieberneit rounded Uthwerdum FSV's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-2. If Christian Thieltges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christian Wieberneit blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Holger Breuer having to make a save. 88 minutes into the match, Echtz FSV's Christian Wieberneit sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Holger Breuer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Christian Wieberneit sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 92 minutes into the game, Urs Meier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Uthwerdum FSV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Echtz FSV the free kick. In the 92nd match minute, Uthwerdum FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urs Meier to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Uthwerdum FSV's Holger Breuer got control of the ball when Luca Niggemeyer tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Uthwerdum FSV's goalkeeper Holger Breuer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
