Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jan Lang got the match started through his kick off. With his leg Andreas Dreschmann managed to avoid a goal in the 12thth minute, when Hagenbeck FC's Leopold Elzer fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Meikel Gunselmann's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andreas Dreschmann read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Meikel Gunselmann was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 18th minute. Hagenbeck FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Andreas Dreschmann didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 19th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. In the 23rdth minute of the game Meikel Gunselmann who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brandewurth's Andreas Dreschmann was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hagenbeck FC's Livio Abshagen couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 28th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Brandewurth. Andreas Dreschmann made an important save on a dangerous shot by Meikel Gunselmann in the 30th minute. Tobias Scharf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Radomil Forster tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 44th minute Meikel Gunselmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andreas Dreschmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Radomil Forster didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Erik Paul went, in the 49th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Meikel Gunselmann to strike the kick off in the second half. Meikel Gunselmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bernard Stapelfeldt during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Brandewurth getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Robin Dieler hit a great ball. Brandewurth's Andreas Dreschmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leopold Elzer in the 67th minute of play. After 69 minutes Brandewurth's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Livio Abshagen who took care of the corner kick. Hagenbeck FC's Livio Abshagen was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Andreas Dreschmann in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Lang in the 73rd minute of play forced Hagenbeck FC's goalkeeper Radomil Forster to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tobias Scharf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Radomil Forster tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Baptist Trimpin fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hagenbeck FC's protests and gave Baptist Trimpin a yellow card for diving instead. In the 76th match minute, Hagenbeck FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baptist Trimpin to maneuver through the defense. Radomil Forster made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Tobias Scharf sent off a good shot on target. Leopold Elzer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Andreas Dreschmann having to make a save. When Livio Abshagen fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hagenbeck FC's protests and gave Livio Abshagen a yellow card for diving instead. If Leopold Elzer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Meikel Gunselmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andreas Dreschmann having to interfere. Leopold Elzer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Andreas Dreschmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 100 minutes, Jochen Leibrandt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brandewurth and the Hagenbeck FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Brandewurth getting a freekick after 100 minutes play. Jochen Leibrandt hit a great ball. Andreas Dreschmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leopold Elzer, who was totally free with the ball in the 101st minute. In the 101st minute, Leopold Elzer made a precise shot to the right of Andreas Dreschmann. Brandewurth's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Hagenbeck FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
