Roland Böhringer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Artur Scheil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Tuke, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Sascha Rauchbach took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benni Klemt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ehlerstorf FC's Sascha Rauchbach proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Ehlerstorf FC from getting a goal against them. Roland Böhringer's late challenge caught a Mittelheim FSV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roland Böhringer helped the player get up and apologised. Roland Böhringer hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. After 19 minutes, Timo Landgraf mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ehlerstorf FC and the Mittelheim FSV players grew even worse after the yellow card. Timo Landgraf kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Mittelheim FSV's Pascal Göbel tried to score from far away in the 20th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Artur Scheil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter Tuke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alexander Ambrosino got free with Sascha Rauchbach in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Ehlerstorf FC's Peter Tuke got a free kick in the 31st minute. 35 minutes into the match, Mittelheim FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Tuke came free, but Artur Scheil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peter Tuke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Artur Scheil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Mittelheim FSV defense, Roland Böhringer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Artur Scheil. The Mittelheim FSV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Artur Scheil should have stopped the shot. Peter Tuke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artur Scheil having to interfere. Peter Tuke recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 49th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Peter Tuke was the one to do the kick off. Mittelheim FSV's Artur Scheil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timo Landgraf in the 59th minute of play. 62 minutes into the game, Roland Böhringer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Artur Scheil was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Timo Landgraf came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Ehlerstorf FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Timo Landgraf couldn't finish the play. Peter Tuke was extremely unlucky when he, in the 70th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Peter Tuke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sascha Rauchbach stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benni Klemt's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexander Ambrosino in the 80th minute of play forced Ehlerstorf FC's goalkeeper Sascha Rauchbach to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Willi Glaubach's late challenge caught a Ehlerstorf FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 91st minute of the match Arne Schipploch shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sascha Rauchbach showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Alexander Ambrosino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Ehlerstorf FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sascha Rauchbach should have stopped the shot. Ehlerstorf FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
