In the 14th minute, Zaman Schwarz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gordon Hofheinz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 18th minute of the match Robert Nierlein shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gordon Hofheinz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 24 minutes, Jan-Benedikt Bittel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Losheim Am See FC and the RB Gladbach 93 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Losheim Am See FC's zone, Walther Reckmaier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gordon Hofheinz came out of the goal and Walther Reckmaier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Losheim Am See FC's Gordon Hofheinz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walther Reckmaier in the 36th minute of play. A collision led to Losheim Am See FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Daniel Papst hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zaman Schwarz got free with Gordon Hofheinz in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Losheim Am See FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Julien Hußmann hit a great ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Walther Reckmaier was the one to do the kick off. When Daniel Papst was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 54 minutes had been played. In the 55th minute, Daniel Papst hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zaman Schwarz might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gordon Hofheinz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zaman Schwarz ran back to his position shaking his head. Gordon Hofheinz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Walther Reckmaier's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Gordon Hofheinz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zaman Schwarz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Losheim Am See FC's Jan-Benedikt Bittel got a free kick in the 66th minute. In the 69th minute, Zaman Schwarz made a precise shot to the right of Gordon Hofheinz. Losheim Am See FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Kay Solka kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. In the 76th minute Zaman Schwarz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gordon Hofheinz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mats Harms kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Gordon Hofheinz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walther Reckmaier, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Zaman Schwarz struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Gordon Hofheinz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RB Gladbach 93. If Walther Reckmaier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 90 played minutes Losheim Am See FC got a freekick which was hit by Arne Mudra. RB Gladbach 93's Zaman Schwarz got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. RB Gladbach 93 walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
