Wolf Wuong might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Matthäus Eggenfeld. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wolf Wuong ran back to his position shaking his head. Wolf Wuong came free with the goalkeeper in the 9th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Matthäus Eggenfeld could save by the left post. Jakob Weißgerber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Matthäus Eggenfeld tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wolf Wuong came free with the goalkeeper in the 16th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Matthäus Eggenfeld could save by the left post. After having played for 31 minutes, Jakob Weißgerber managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Möstenberg FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jakob Weißgerber was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Till-Julius Vogt struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Leopold Schlott didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vogelbeck. After 44 minutes of play, Vogelbeck's Enno Sass made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leopold Schlott was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sascha Wiedemann hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After the first half Vogelbeck were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When Till-Julius Vogt came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Vogelbeck fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Till-Julius Vogt couldn't finish the play. If Wolf Wuong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 64th minute of the match Ralf Koziol sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leopold Schlott skillfully saved the ball. Vogelbeck's Till-Julius Vogt got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Till-Julius Vogt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leopold Schlott having to interfere. Jakob Weißgerber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wolf Wuong struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Matthäus Eggenfeld didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Möstenberg FC. Jakob Weißgerber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matthäus Eggenfeld having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Vogelbeck's Sascha Wiedemann got a free kick in the 95th minute. With an all-out effort, Vogelbeck's Leopold Schlott threw himself towards the right post 97 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Till-Julius Vogt, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The Vogelbeck players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
