In the 7th minute, Kai-Uwe Kürten hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sven-Philipp Bork showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven Minder, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. After 11 minutes, Marco Brackheimer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Krapphof FC and the Schleifreisen FSV players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Krapphof FC's Marco Brackheimer got a free kick in the 11th minute. Walter Fontes's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Sven-Philipp Bork - 0-1 was put on the score board in the 12th minute. Julius Kubat made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eric Mrugalla in the 15th minute. After a rather tough play, Schleifreisen FSV's Heinz-Gerd Beckenbauer got a free kick in the 16th minute. After 20 minutes of play, Schleifreisen FSV's Sven Minder made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sven-Philipp Bork was left in no man's land by his defense there! Till Jandura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Julius Kubat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th minute Michael Heiduk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Philipp Bork saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christopher Bürger kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Krapphof FC's Till Jandura sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julius Kubat narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With splendid footwork Till Jandura arrived in front of goal to shoot 2-2 by the left pole in the game's 42nd minute. Schleifreisen FSV's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Till Jandura 46 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sven Minder to make the kick off. In the 62nd minute Jörg Jarkovsky collided with an opponent which caused him a fractured collar bone. When Ralf Hartmann fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Schleifreisen FSV's protests and gave Ralf Hartmann a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Schleifreisen FSV's Ralf Hartmann got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Eric Mrugalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julius Kubat having to interfere. Julius Kubat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eric Mrugalla in the 68th minute of play. In the 72nd match minute, Krapphof FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eric Mrugalla to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Krapphof FC's zone, Sven Minder stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sven-Philipp Bork came out of the goal and Sven Minder tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Michael Heiduk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Michael Heiduk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Philipp Bork having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Schleifreisen FSV's Heinz-Gerd Beckenbauer got a free kick in the 95th minute. Krapphof FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
