The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Schwaben. In the 7th minute there was a penalty for Mauren FC. Wolf Fortuna stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gerd Schwering. 0-1. After 9 minutes, Tim Beckenbauer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mauren FC and the Schwaben players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 9th minute, Tim Beckenbauer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Schwaben's Gerd Schwering played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uwe Solder in the 17th minute of play. In the 21st minute Tim Beckenbauer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerd Schwering saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andreas Trautmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaspar Schulte in the 23rd minute of the match. The supporters of Schwaben booed when Mauren FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uwe Solder didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Schwaben's Jonathan Redda got a free kick in the 34th minute. Mauren FC's Andreas Trautmann proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Mauren FC from getting a goal against them. Kaspar Schulte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 39 played minutes, Schwaben's Lüder Plum shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Andreas Trautmann came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Schwaben reached it. Andreas Trautmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kester Schilling in the 42nd minute of play. In the 44th match minute, Schwaben was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ty Bensch to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Uwe Solder to strike the kick off in the second half. If Tarkan Kretschmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Kester Schilling came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Schwaben fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kester Schilling couldn't finish the play. Thomas Keussen kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Kaspar Schulte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Mauren FC's Björn-Torben Fusten got a free kick in the 58th minute. The audience was convinced that Kester Schilling's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Andreas Trautmann was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. In the 61st minute Kaspar Schulte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andreas Trautmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd minute of the match Wolf Fortuna shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gerd Schwering showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 64th minute Kaspar Schulte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andreas Trautmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Mauren FC's Thomas Keussen got a free kick in the 65th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sascha Heuser during the 67th minute. In the 76thth minute of the game Kester Schilling who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mauren FC's Andreas Trautmann was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Kester Schilling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th minute, Björn-Torben Fusten hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 81st minute, Sascha Heuser hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 85 minutes into the match, Kester Schilling notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Mauren FC's Andreas Trautmann. Andreas Trautmann was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 89 played minutes Schwaben got a freekick which was hit by Tarkan Kretschmann. Uwe Solder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerd Schwering having to interfere. In the 93rdth minute of the game Kaspar Schulte who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mauren FC's Andreas Trautmann was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 95th minute, Kaspar Schulte left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Schwaben fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Schwaben had won after a very even match.
