Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Kurt Dürre got the match started through his kick off. The supporters of Flohburg FC booed when Obersulgen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernst Gutsche didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pekko Aßmann kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. In the 6th match minute, Obersulgen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kurt Dürre to maneuver through the defense. Dick Tauber was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 12 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 11th minute of the game. One of Obersulgen:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Flohburg FC:s goal. When the match had been going on for 14 minutes, Flohburg FC's Johan Heupel got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ubbo Wengenroth. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jürgen Bohnhorst in the 18th minute of play forced Obersulgen's goalkeeper Ubbo Wengenroth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sascha-Andreas Rühl in the 21stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ubbo Wengenroth, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Sascha-Andreas Rühl recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 38th minute, Sascha-Andreas Rühl made a precise shot to the right of Ubbo Wengenroth. Obersulgen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jürgen Bohnhorst made a kick off. Obersulgen's Ubbo Wengenroth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sascha-Andreas Rühl in the 58th minute of play. 58 minutes into the game, Victor Krebs was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Obersulgen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Flohburg FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Obersulgen's Victor Krebs got a free kick in the 58th minute. After 61 minutes of play, Obersulgen's Jochen Straube made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Daniel Thimm was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Jürgen Bohnhorst had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jürgen Bohnhorst recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 74th minute there was a penalty for Flohburg FC. Johan Heupel stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ubbo Wengenroth. 3-1. Sascha-Andreas Rühl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 86 minutes into the game, Steffen Steigelmann was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Flohburg FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Obersulgen the free kick. Steffen Steigelmann kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Obersulgen's goalkeeper Ubbo Wengenroth, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Flohburg FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Obersulgen for a fine match.
