The supporters of Greifswald booed when KSV Krusenbusch was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raimund Schuchter didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carsten Dresdner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 罗泉扬 in the 17th minute of play. Paulino Aznar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexander Tritz in the 24th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Fritz Ernst Schabert got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Paulino Aznar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kilian Wolbergs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Greifswald's Kornelius Burkert got a free kick in the 30th minute. 罗泉扬 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 33 played minutes Greifswald got a freekick which was hit by Dustin Dressel. 39 minutes into the match, Luigi Sonneborn notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Greifswald's Carsten Dresdner. Carsten Dresdner was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 46th minute, Kilian Wolbergs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Fritz Ernst Schabert got free with Paulino Aznar in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee felt a red card was in order, 56 minutes into the game, when Raimund Schuchter put in a rough tackle. After 57 played minutes KSV Krusenbusch got a freekick which was hit by Raimund Schuchter. After 62 minutes, 罗泉扬 mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KSV Krusenbusch and the Greifswald players grew even worse after the yellow card. 罗泉扬 hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. When Luigi Sonneborn came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the KSV Krusenbusch fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luigi Sonneborn couldn't finish the play. If 罗泉扬 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 69 minutes into the match, Greifswald's goal looked a bit too open when 罗泉扬 came free, but Carsten Dresdner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, KSV Krusenbusch's Paulino Aznar got control of the ball when Alexander Tritz tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, KSV Krusenbusch's Dobromir Jazowski got a free kick in the 77th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alexander Tritz got free with Paulino Aznar in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. KSV Krusenbusch's Paulino Aznar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kilian Wolbergs in the 80th minute of play. Yannik Sanders's late challenge caught a Greifswald's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yannik Sanders helped the player get up and apologised. 82 minutes into the game, one of KSV Krusenbusch:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Paulino Aznar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kilian Wolbergs in the 89th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Greifswald defense, Luigi Sonneborn kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carsten Dresdner. The Greifswald fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carsten Dresdner should have stopped the shot. Greifswald were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
