The supporters of KSV Krusenbusch booed when Hallthurm was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Piecyk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hallthurm's Tim-Sebastian Scheiler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 罗泉扬 in the 6th minute of play. Tim-Sebastian Scheiler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 罗泉扬 in the 10th minute of the match. If Luigi Sonneborn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. KSV Krusenbusch's Paulino Aznar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save KSV Krusenbusch from getting a goal against them. In the 17th match minute, Hallthurm was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Krome to maneuver through the defense. KSV Krusenbusch's Luigi Sonneborn got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, KSV Krusenbusch's Siegfried Blecken got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Tim-Sebastian Scheiler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luigi Sonneborn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 28 played minutes Hallthurm got a freekick which was hit by Matthias Gloeckner. Siegfried Blecken charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Siegfried Blecken the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Paulino Aznar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernhardt Schnitzler in the 35th minute. In the 44th match minute, KSV Krusenbusch was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yannik Sanders to maneuver through the defense. KSV Krusenbusch's defense didn't have a chance, in the 48th minute, when Tim Thal scored to the left of an out of position Paulino Aznar, making the score, 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Piecyk made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when 罗泉扬 got free with Tim-Sebastian Scheiler in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fatmir Paasch kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Marco Krome charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Hallthurm's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luigi Sonneborn was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1.
